  • I went bowling today for the first time in about 3 yrs so I’m a bit rusty, but I’m having so much trouble! My bowling ball tends to veer off to the left so I get A LOT of gutter balls and I have to start so far to the right that some times it ends up in the right gutter! I usually only get about three pins down each frame and only 1 strike out of three games! Its even hard for me to get spares. I was just wondering if someone had some tips that might help me out as I’ve tried the obvious one of moving to the side.

    Thanks

  • How do I help a friend of mine to build up a little bit more ball speed? Her speed averages 9.51, our lanes are hooking a bit more this year and she is having a lot of trouble keeping her ball from rolling away from the spare. She has tried moving to the left on her stance, but her ball rolls so much it’s hard to control.

  • AVOID GUTTER BALLS:YOU NEED TO ALIGN YOUR BODY, ALONG WITH YOUR ARM SWING…MAKE SURE YOUR SHOULDERS ARE STRAIGHT / PARALLEL TO THE FOUL LINE AT THE TIME OF BALL RELEASE AND YOUR LEFT FACING THE HEAD PIN…GO TO MY BLOG FOR MORE LESSONS.

NO NEED TO CONTROL SPEED AT THIS MOMENT, SHE JUST NEED TO ADJUST THE BALL GRIP…IF THE BALL IS HOOKING A LOT THAN JUST OPEN YOUR LAST FINGER VOID AND CLOSE THE FIRST FIGURE..YOU CAN ADJUST THIS LAST FINGER AS PER YOUR REQUIRED HOOK NEEDED.
