Ten Pin Bowling Tips

Bowling Tip 6 - Find the Right Bowling Ball Weight For You

February 2nd, 2006 by petermartens

One customary method of choosing ball weight is to choose a ball that is 10% of your body weight give or take a pound. Test different weights with house balls until you get one you feel comfortable with. Be sure to bowl many games with a ball at that weight. When you have your own ball made be sure it matches the weight of the house bowling ball you’ve been using.

Use the wrong bowling ball weight and it could throw your game off.
