I can tell after I have bowled a game an into the second game that I have started to miss some easy spares, that I have lost concentration an the score has gone down. Now should I just realize hat during the game I should stop and focus on something. If so and what should it be.. Now my question is should that be part of the game, like follow through of stance, etc???? Or something outside. I guess it should be on the game, correct. Well just a question.. thnax, Jim...

Hi York,

I cannot tell you why the dots are not aligned perfectly with the arrows, but they really do not need to be. They are three boards apart, and if you use an arrow as a pivot point, changing a line from one arrow to another changes the touchdown point at the foul line six boards -- rather large, don't you think? When and if I do find out the reason for their lateral positions, I will let you know.

AVOID GUTTER BALLS:YOU NEED TO ALIGN YOUR BODY, ALONG WITH YOUR ARM SWING...MAKE SURE YOUR SHOULDERS ARE STRAIGHT / PARALLEL TO THE FOUL LINE AT THE TIME OF BALL RELEASE AND YOUR LEFT FACING THE HEAD PIN...GO TO MY BLOG FOR MORE LESSONS.

NO NEED TO CONTROL SPEED AT THIS MOMENT, SHE JUST NEED TO ADJUST THE BALL GRIP...IF THE BALL IS HOOKING A LOT THAN JUST OPEN YOUR LAST FINGER VOID AND CLOSE THE FIRST FIGURE..YOU CAN ADJUST THIS LAST FINGER AS PER YOUR REQUIRED HOOK NEEDED.

Sorry to bother you. I am a long time bowler who has a question about the Brunswick Rangefinder System. I have searched the Internet/looked in various bowling books without success in trying to find the answer.
First, I know that the arrows and the dots on the approach all line up with the visible pins that are facing the bowler, i.e, the 1,2,3,4,6,7,10 pins. The dots just about six/seven feet out from the foul line towards the arrows are *not* so aligned, as you point out.. Can you enlighten me as to why these dots are *not* aligned like the rest since I'm sure there was *some* sort of reasoning on putting these dots "offset" from the rest. Also, of course, I am trying to figure out how they figured in to the Rangefinder system as it was originally developed in WWII. I wasn't quite sure I understood the "Play with determining which board is half way between your mark and your target and aim at that board’s dot". Thanks for any help you can be.
Again, sorry to bother you but I haven't found the answer elsewhere. Most references, including the tips from Bob Strickland on the web, mention the dots on the lane and then seem to ignore them. Of course, it may be that I'm just not understanding things well.

Thanks,
